Owner Warren has a wealth of local knowledge to share with you about where to land a good catch, as well as some great places to just anchor and relax. When you hire a boat from Blue Peter Boatshed there is no need for a boat licence or fishing licence, We look after it all for you.

Hire boats

Our hire boats are 4.5m open aluminium 6-seater Sea-al crafts with a generous canopy covering the seating area.

Seat mats are provided for your comfort as well as safety standard lifejackets, oars, rowlocks, anchor and landing net.

Various stickers are displayed in our boats to make your outing on the lake as informative and safe as possible. A map of the lake is provided for each boat and any useful directions to help you bring in the big catch of fish.
