Easter 2017 - Wallis lake fishing Update

EASTER, 2017, and the School Holidays, are almost here and the weather at Wallis Lake, Forster, is continuing very warm and is forecast to be sunny and just ideal for Boating and Fishing. 

FLATHEAD can still be caught in the lower reaches of Wallis Lake. This is due to recent rains and change of season

WHITING  are still quite active with Live Worms being the preferred bait. The water temperature is still high.

BREAM Large Bream are being caught in the lower reaches of Wallis Lake and near the bridge. Prawns, mullet gut and Mullet fillets being the ideal bait

LUDERICK (Blackfish) are coming on the bite and can be caught on fresh green weed.

There is a great presence of very tasty Blue Swimmer Crabs in the Lake also. They can be easily caught using witches hat nets on the shallow sand flats.

Other varieties such as Trevally, Leatherjacket and Sole can be caught using a variety of Bait that we sell here at BLUE PETER BOATSHED. Live worms will be available over the Easter holiday season along with a good range of Tackle, sun hats, sunscreen and All your boating needs.

Easter 2016 wallis lake fishing report

​EASTER, 2016, and the School Holidays following in April, are almost here and the weather at Wallis Lake, Forster, is continuing very warm and sunny and just ideal for Boating and Fishing.
 
FLATHEAD have gone off the bite with the change of season but can still be caught in the Breckenridge Channel of Wallis Lake
 
WHITING & BREAM are still very active with larger Whiting coming in from the ocean. The water temperature is still high.
 
LUDERICK (Blackfish) are coming on the bite and can be caught on fresh green weed. The Luderick season is shaping up to be the best for many years.
 
There is a great presence of very tasty Blue Swimmer Crabs in the Lake also. They can be easily caught using witches hat nets on the shallow sand flats.
 
A number of KINGFISH have been seen in the Lake and seem to be most active at the turn of the tide, top or bottom.
 
Other varieties such as Trevally, Leatherjacket and Sole can be caught using a variety of Bait that we sell here at BLUE PETER BOATSHED. Live worms should be available over the Easter holiday season along with a good range of Tackle, sun hats, sunscreen and All your boating needs.

EASTER, 2010 and the NSW School Holidays are almost here and the weather at Wallis Lake, Forster, is continuing very warm and sunny and just ideal for Boating and Fishing. 

FLATHEAD were late arriving this season but are now around in good numbers and are being caught mainly as good size table fish.

WHITING & BREAM are still very active with the larger bream coming in from the ocean in the near future.

LUDERICK (Blackfish) are plentiful at present, which seems earlier than usual, and can be caught on fresh green weed.

There is a great presence of very tasty Blue Swimmer Crabs in the Lake also. They can be easily caught as they will readily take your flathead bait.

Other varieties such as Trevally, Leatherjacket and Sole can be caught using a variety of Bait that we sell here at BLUE PETER BOATSHED along with a good range of Tackle, sun hats, sunscreen and All your boating needs. Drinks, snacks, ice creams and ICE are also available. Our fishing advice and detailed coloured map is invaluable!!!
