What a great start to Summer!
In Wallis Lake WHITING are plentiful and can be caught using Live Worms. BREAM are also plentiful around and close to the oyster racks.
BIG KING FISH are still cruising around the Lake but are proving very hard to catch.
The warmer waters in the shallows are hiding FLATHEAD, and they can be lured out with Soft Plastics as well as Bait, such as Pilchards & Mullet Fillets.
There is a very High 2m Tide on Xmas Day.
PRAWNS will run from January, 2019 which will make for great family fun!
Blue Swimmer Crabs are so plentiful, it’s not surprising many are being caught up on fishing rod bait!
Other species, bream, trevally, flounder, tailor and leatherjacket to name a few are regularly caught in Wallis Lake and make for a nice mixed catch of fish.

As well as fishing in Wallis Lake there are many other great activities such as swimming, snorkelling and picnic areas to enjoy.
In our shop we have comprehensive range of snorkels, aqua shoes, beach toys for children, sun hats, sunscreen and sun glasses, the new range of Barz Optics is worth a look.

Come and visit us at Blue Peter Boatshed, we will look after you on Wallis Lake.
