EASTER, 2010 and the NSW School Holidays are almost here and the weather at Wallis Lake, Forster, is continuing very warm and sunny and just ideal for Boating and Fishing. FLATHEAD were late arriving this season but are now around in good numbers and are being caught mainly as good size table fish. WHITING & BREAM are still very active with the larger bream coming in from the ocean in the near future. LUDERICK (Blackfish) are plentiful at present, which seems earlier than usual, and can be caught on fresh green weed. There is a great presence of very tasty Blue Swimmer Crabs in the Lake also. They can be easily caught as they will readily take your flathead bait. Other varieties such as Trevally, Leatherjacket and Sole can be caught using a variety of Bait that we sell here at BLUE PETER BOATSHED along with a good range of Tackle, sun hats, sunscreen and All your boating needs. Drinks, snacks, ice creams and ICE are also available. Our fishing advice and detailed coloured map is invaluable!!! We are open from 8am to 5pm daily with extended hours over the coming Easter and School holidays so come and find us at 95 Little Street
