Spring weather and NSW School Holidays are just around the corner!![]() Large FLATHEAD can be seen laying around in the shallows soaking up the warmth from the sun. We should soon be getting warm sea currents from the north which will activate the flatties and get them biting. BREAM and TREVALLY are being caught in and around the oyster leases and will increase in numbers as the water temperature increases. There is a late run of BLACK FISH (LUDERICK) and they are very nice eating indeed. TAYLOR are active on metal Lures and for a tasty meal of fish, target LEATHER JACKET on soft baits. The Summer run of WHITING should commence soon and we have a continuous supply of Live Worms which will guarantee a nice catch of WHITING. These fish are great fun caught on poppers or small soft plastics, also available for sale at Blue Peter Boatshed. Prawn runs will start from October onwards. Most of the islands in WALLIS LAKE have beach areas around them and these are ideal spots for relaxing family picnics. These shallow spots are a great place to throw a line out and catch some WHITING. Our BLUE PETER boats are well equipped family sized boats and we supply a comprehensive map of WALLIS LAKE, fishing gear hire, if required, and will have the latest Fishing information available for you! HAPPY FISHING!!!! CALL 02 6555 6506 TO BOOK A SPOT!
