With the cooler weather and crystal clear water, we are having the best BREAM Season ever, many bream are 40cms plus! Floating fresh mullet strips or prawn bait as close to the oyster leases as possible should get some positive results.

With the unusually warm water for this time of the year there is still some very good FLATHEAD about. Once again mullet strips are good bait for FLATHEAD.

LUDERIC (black fish) are just beginning to appear in the lake at the moment, so if you are travelling up from Sydney it may pay to bring some green weed with you.
HUGE KINGFISH have been spotted chasing schools of baitfish in Breckenridge Channel. At Blue Peter Boatshed, we have a good range of frozen Bait and live worms and all the tackle needs for fishing Wallis Lake and Surrounds.

Do drop into our Boatshed at 95 Little Street, Forster and catch up with all the Fishing Advice, hot spots and tidal information. Besides the great taste of fresh fish, there are also so many health benefits for including fish regularly in our diets.

HAPPY FISHING!
